The drawing is a section of a house showing different passive strategies used to reduce the cooling loads, hence energy reduction.

  • Natural Ventilation
  • Natural Shading Devices (trees)
  • Indirect Evaporative Cooling

The terraces are designed to block direct sun rays from the glass facades during hot summer time and let the rays in during winter.
