Jury @ South by South West

After our participation in last year’s Place by Design Competition in the Resilience category, we were happy to serve as jurors for this year’s candidates. We reviewed dozens of inspirational projects with tremendous positive social and environmental impact!

One of the finalists, “A HEALTHY LA RIVER FOR ALL” further highlighted the plight of urban rivers worldwide, reminding us of our “Beirut RiverLESS“ project we had pitched at last year’s event!

In 2015, we were invited to present BeirutRiverLess in a fast-paced pitch competition at South by South-West Eco (SXSWeco)’s program. Entitled Place by Design (PXD), the program highlights design work that positively impacts the environment, enhances public space and engages communities. In case you missed it, you can watch a 4 minutes video recording of our pitch by following this link.
