On Friday, October 19th 2018, we participated in the “International Conference on Resilience in Post-Conflict Cities”. The goal of the conference was to share experiences, lessons learned as well as practices developed in cities and communities that experienced post-conflict reconstruction.
During the conference, Dada delivered a talk about Beirut RiverLESS and the proposed positive urban interventions along the river, as part of a round table discussion focusing on “Increasing Urban Resilience by Improving Urban Planning“. The discussion was followed by a Q&A session.
This two-day-conference was co-organized by ESA Business School, the Environmental Change Institute of Oxford University and the Institut Francais du Proche-Orient.
