On Saturday, December 8th 2018, theOtherDada held a workshop in collaboration with The Chain Effect as part of Beirut RiverLESS initiative. The workshop took place at Riwaq Beirut and lasted for six hours.
During the workshop, participants got to learn about the history of Beirut River and the current social and environmental challenges faced by the local community based on our insights from recent field interviews.
The participants also went out to discover the targeted neighborhoods, identified the main problems and worked in five groups to come up with interventions to improve the soft mobility and revitalize urban spaces alongside the river.
At the end of this workshop, participants presented their ideas and received participation certificates.
